Heavy Rains in North Karnataka

Heavy rains hit North Karnataka, bringing widespread damage and tragedy over the weekend.

Several districts, including Ballari, Vijayanagara, and Davanagere, experienced severe rainfall due to a weather disturbance linked to a cyclonic system in the Bay of Bengal.

Unfortunately, the heavy downpour led to floods, damaged over 150 houses, and claimed lives.
