Several districts, including Ballari, Vijayanagara, and Davanagere, experienced severe rainfall due to a weather disturbance linked to a cyclonic system in the Bay of Bengal.

Unfortunately, the heavy downpour led to floods, damaged over 150 houses, and claimed lives.

Many areas faced lightning strikes and house collapses, with injuries reported.
