Rajasthan Monsoon Revival
Heavy Rains Set to Lash Rajasthan

Heavy rain set to lash Rajasthan today with waterlogging expected in some parts.

Rajasthan’s monsoon, subdued through mid-August, is set for a strong revival this week.

A cyclonic circulation over northwest Madhya Pradesh and east Rajasthan, along with another over the northeast Arabian Sea, will trigger widespread rain.

Heavy showers are forecast for east Rajasthan on 21st–22nd August, followed by intense rain in southern districts like Udaipur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, and Kota from 23rd–24th August, raising risks of waterlogging and flooding.

By 26th–27th August, rains will spread across most of the state, including western parts, with moderate to heavy downpours.

Activity will ease after 28th August, marking a return to mild monsoon conditions towards month-end. Residents are advised to stay alert for disruptions.
