ISRO to Launch New Satellite

ISRO is set to launch a new satellite, EOS-09 (also called RISAT-1B), on May 18, 2025, using the PSLV-C61 rocket.

This is a radar imaging satellite that can take clear pictures of the Earth, even through clouds.

It will help in monitoring weather, agriculture, forests, and natural disasters. The images from this satellite will support farming, disaster management, and national security.

EOS-09 will play a key role in improving India’s space capabilities and providing useful data for various sectors.

This launch is another step forward in strengthening India’s presence in space and science.
