Maha Kumbh Converge in January 2025

On January 25, 2025, sky enthusiasts in India were treated to a celestial spectacle as six planets, Saturn, Venus, Jupiter, Mars, Uranus, and Neptune, aligned in a straight line from southwest to northeast.

While Saturn, Venus, Jupiter, and Mars were visible to the naked eye, spotting Uranus and Neptune required telescopes due to their faintness.

This planetary parade is expected to remain visible until mid-February, offering ample opportunity for observation.

Coinciding with this astronomical event, the Maha Kumbh Mela is underway in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, from January 13 to February 26, 2025.

The festival's key bathing dates include Paush Purnima on January 13, Makar Sankranti on January 14, and the upcoming Mauni Amavasya on January 29, which is considered highly auspicious for spiritual practices.

The convergence of the planetary alignment and the Maha Kumbh Mela offers a unique blend of cosmic wonder and spiritual fervor, making this period particularly special for both sky watchers and pilgrims.
