Onset of Early Winter
Monsoon Withdrawal from RJ and Gujarat

No October heat in Gujarat and Rajasthan. Cold weather takes over after delayed withdrawal

The Southwest Monsoon has now completely withdrawn from Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi, officially ending the season.

Unlike previous years, there is no “second summer” phase, as no fresh weather system is forming over the Bay of Bengal.

Cool, dry northwesterly winds are dominating, causing a steady dip in day and night temperatures across northwest and central India.

Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, and parts of Madhya Pradesh are already feeling the early winter chill, with foggy mornings in some areas.

Meteorologists expect this trend to continue, marking a swift transition from monsoon humidity to crisp, cool air, while southern India looks ahead to the arrival of the Northeast Monsoon.
