Mumbai is unlikely to experience heavy rainfall over the next 10 days, with only light to moderate showers expected.

The city received a record 1,703.7mm of rain in July 2024, but August has seen just 173mm so far, far below the average of 585.8mm.

The weather system along the Konkan Coast will stay inactive, and we don't expect a typical monsoon outburst until at least the third week of August.
