Possibility of Thunderstorm in Kolkata

West Bengal continues to experience unstable weather conditions.The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert across all districts, warning of thunderstorms and gusty winds reaching speeds of 50–60 km/h. While the morning began with clear skies, cloud cover is expected to increase by afternoon, bringing more rain and relief from the intense April heat.

High humidity will reduce the sun's intensity, but discomfort may persist. Kolkata’s temperature today is expected to range between 26°C and 35°C.

Sporadic rain is likely across both southern and northern districts through the evening.
