Mumbai has remained relatively calm over the last two weeks, with only mild showers and single-digit rainfall recorded daily for the past five days.

This pattern is expected to continue till 15th August. However, the weekend could mark the return of Mumbai’s signature heavy rains, likely intensifying further next week.

August, being the city’s second rainiest month with a normal of 585.2 mm, has so far seen only 65 mm recorded at the Santacruz observatory.

Light to moderate rainfall will persist for the next few days before heavier showers return.

Citizens are advised to stay updated with the forecast as conditions shift over the coming weekend.
