The weather impact is being intensified by a trough along the coasts and an easterly wave moving near Sri Lanka, strengthening the northeast monsoon along these regions.

Active northeast monsoon conditions are forecasted for Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and South Interior Karnataka.

Heavy rainfall is anticipated in areas including Bapatla, Kavali, Ongole, Nellore, Sriharikota, Chennai, and Puducherry. This rainfall activity is expected to ease around November 18, bringing a clearer weather outlook to these coastal and interior areas.
