Unusual pre-monsoon activity is set to impact Gujarat, a region that typically stays dry during March and April.

After a rare hailstorm in Rajkot last month, another round of stormy weather is expected soon.

This change is driven by interacting weather systems over North India, the Arabian Sea, and Peninsular India.

Rain and thunderstorms may begin in isolated parts from April 1, increasing across South and Central Gujarat by April 2–4.

Between April 5 and 8, storm activity will intensify and spread to North Gujarat, Saurashtra, and Kutch. Gusty winds and isolated hailstorms are also possible.
