Rising Temperatures in Gujarat

Heatwave Likely to Strike
Rising Temperatures in Gujarat

Gujarat is set to experience a significant rise in mercury levels, with a heatwave likely to affect several areas starting March 8, 2025.

The state, already one of the hottest during the pre-monsoon season, will see temperatures breach 40°C in some places.

This increase in heat is due to a change in wind patterns caused by a series of western disturbances approaching North India, disrupting the usual moisture-laden winds from the Arabian Sea.

With minimal cloud cover and no rainfall expected, the scorching heat will intensify, raising concerns over early heatwave conditions.
