Temperatures Soar to 40°C in Gujarat

Gujarat has been experiencing a significant rise in temperatures, with cities like Bhuj, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, and Gandhinagar surpassing 40°C. This heatwave, though intense, is not unusual for this time of year, marking the second round of high temperatures this season.

The peak came during the second week of March, with Rajkot recording 43.5°C, the highest in India so far.

While the heat is expected to rise again after 29th March, light rains between 30th March and 2nd April may provide a brief respite.
