Upcoming Weather System
Monsoon to Revive in Central India

A new cyclonic circulation is expected to form over the Bay of Bengal around this weekend, bringing much-needed rain to central India.

Unlike earlier systems that boosted monsoon rains in the east and north, this system is predicted to sweep across Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, and Gujarat, with rainfall intensifying from September 21 to 27.

The monsoon retreat, usually set for late September, could be delayed, stretching into October.

Weather on the radar

As the weather pattern moves westward, parts of Karnataka and Rajasthan might also feel its effects, offering relief and extending monsoon joy.
