Relief is on the way as pre-monsoon activity is set to intensify over the next week. Temperatures are expected to drop by 5–6°C across most parts of the state.

This change is driven by heat-induced circulations and a trough extending from Odisha to Tamil Nadu via central India.

Thunderstorms will begin in Vidarbha and expand across Maharashtra between April 1 and 3. Mumbai and Konkan may see their first showers soon, with possible hailstorms in interior regions.
