Cyclone Dana, the first post-monsoon storm of 2025, hit Odisha’s coast near Dhamra in the early hours of October 25 as a severe cyclonic storm.

The landfall process, lasting five hours, has since completed, and Dana has weakened to a tropical storm.

Flight operations resumed at Bhubaneswar and Kolkata airports after temporary suspensions.
