What’s Happening?
Rising Temperatures in Northeast India

The Northeast region of India is currently experiencing unusually high temperatures, and there are several factors at play.

A strong high-pressure system over the Tibetan Plateau is pushing dry air into the area, while moist air from the Bay of Bengal is being directed towards Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and and Maharashtra.

However, there’s a chance of change next week, with a possible depression from the South China Sea bringing rainfall relief. Stay tuned for weather updates!
