Maharashtra ended the June–September monsoon season with 804.4 mm of rainfall, around 19% below normal.

Marathwada recorded the highest deficit at 39%, followed by Vidarbha at 27%. Konkan and Goa saw a 15% shortfall, while Madhya Maharashtra recorded a smaller deficit of 7%.

October has remained largely dry so far, and significant rainfall is unlikely during the next 7–10 days. With no major post-monsoon weather systems expected, dry conditions could continue across Maharashtra through mid-October.
