After a brief lull, monsoon showers have returned to Mumbai. Earlier this month, the city witnessed an exceptional wet spell, receiving over 1,272 mm of rain so far in July, already well above the monthly average of 919.9 mm.

The revival is being supported by a remnant cyclonic circulation moving across central India, which is strengthening moisture-laden winds along the Konkan coast.

Moderate rain and thundershowers are likely over Mumbai and nearby areas for the next four days, mainly during the evening, night and early morning. While widespread disruption is not expected, brief waterlogging may occur in low-lying areas. Day temperatures will remain pleasant, staying below 30°C.
