The southwest monsoon will remain active over several parts.

Heavy rain is likely at isolated places over Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa, parts of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Light to moderate rain is also expected across Bihar, Jharkhand, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, the Western Himalayas and the Northeast.

The current weather pattern is being driven by the monsoon trough stretching across North India, along with a Western Disturbance over the northern mountains and multiple cyclonic circulations.

Delhi, Haryana and Punjab may receive light rain, while Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Tamil Nadu are likely to see isolated showers. Residents in heavy rain-prone areas should stay alert for waterlogging, thunderstorms and possible travel disruptions.
